The Annual Opening Of the Roof Festival

At least the building generates some excitement. The $20 million retractable roof, or as the experts like to call it, ‘kinetic architecture’ was
opened today amid warnings for attendees to dress warmly.

last year WTHR noted:

Since Lucas Oil Stadium opened in 2008 the Colts have played 13 of 27 home games open air. If you do that math, that’s so far, roughly $1.7 million each time the roof is open for the Colts, and that doesn’t include $56,000 a year the Capital Improvement Board pays to maintain it.

So we have now had 14 ‘outdoor’ games played there. The cost-per-game is down to a modestly-slimmer $1.5 million.

Have they gotten all the malfunctioning exterior signs to work correctly yet?

Enough of this ’99%’ nonsense. it is awfully presumptuous of them to lump in the rest of us who make our own way without expecting somebody else to do it for us.

This guy hits the nail on the head: The 53%

If you were disappointed by not seeing an actual Litebox on display today at the big announcement, here’s one of Bobby Yanagihara’s early prototypes from last February. Picasa Web Album

Bob is listed in LinkedIn as

ceo litebox inc
February 2011 – Present (9 months) EARTH

Bringing back the Drive In. Litebox will provide a platform in collaboration with Panasonic which will allow the viewing of all media content.

principal Entreprenuerial Ventures and Capital Structures
January 2010 – Present (1 year 10 months)

principal promotemysong.com
2008 – Present (3 years)

website for aspiring artists# Brand development, web site traffic growth, web site UI and advertising revenue. Developed brand strategy and statistics systems.
# Strategic Consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development.
# Advising new businesses on formation of corporations and business structures, drafting privacy policies and structuring commercial transactions.

Neither the litebox nor the promotemysong websites actually work, which tends to make one go ‘hmmm’ when contemplating a company’s background. Something the Ballard administration evidently hasn’t done.
